Big reed basket, hand crafted

We met Sr. Mario in his workshop, where he has worked for over 60 years making baskets. He made this basket for harvesting fruits. The design is unique because the double handle allows carrying it with a stick; without that, it turns. So please, feel free to repurpose this excellent piece for anything that needs holding, like magazines, newspapers, hand towels, or your latest needlework.
